The Olympic Games are officially headed back to the United States. This week, the city of Los Angeles and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced the acceptance of the 2028 games to the state of California. The IOC has agreed to advance funds of $1.8 billion to the Los Angeles Organizing Committee in view of the longer planning period.
