Aloha Spirit Productions has received many inquiries regarding the activities taking place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center surrounding The Champions League on April 1-3. President Obama will be hosting the final Nuclear Security Summit on March 31- April 1 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. This is a continued meeting of World Leaders to discuss what individual countries will do to minimize this threat.
The Champions League activities will be at the Marriott Marquis on Friday, April 1 and begin competition on Saturday, April 2 once the NSS is complete at the Convention Center.
“Like many activities in Washington D.C., when the President attends there are challenges with traffic and parking. The Champions League attendees that currently hold reservations at the Marriott Marquis for this event and feel this would not be in their best interest for parking are welcome to relocate to the overflow accommoda- tions at the Key Bridge Marriot in Arlington, Virginia. Attendees at this property will be able to park outside of the Convention Center area and access the Metro to the event,” explains Tammy Van Vleet, President of Aloha Productions. Visit www.TheChampsLeague.com to book in the block at the Key Bridge Marriott.
Additional parking information is posted on The Champions League website and attendees can visit Parking Panda to get up to date parking information around the Convention Center or alternative parking areas and then use public transportation to arrive at the event. www.ParkingPanda.com.
