JAMZ Named Official Rules, Scoring and Education Partner of NIAA Spirit

The multi-year partnership will support the return of the Nevada Spirit State Championship for high school cheer and dance in March 2027.

The Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association has named JAMZ Cheer & Dance the exclusive Official Rules, Scoring and Education Partner of NIAA Spirit through a new multi-year partnership.

The agreement will support the return of the Nevada Spirit State Championship for high school cheer and dance. Presented by Rebel Athletic, the championship is scheduled for March 5–6, 2027, in Las Vegas.

NIAA Spirit will produce the state championship for cheer and dance teams representing Nevada high schools. JAMZ will provide its expertise in competition rules, scoring systems and coaching education as the organization works to establish a consistent championship experience for participating programs.

“Bringing this championship back has been years in the making, and doing it right meant partnering with the very best,” NIAA Spirit Director Deb Dowty Solari said. “JAMZ gives our Cheer and Dance coaches and student-athletes an experience they can be proud of.”

The partnership expands JAMZ’s presence within Nevada’s school spirit community. The company already produces JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas, along with cheer and dance competitions throughout the West Coast.

Headquartered in Sparks, the NIAA serves as Nevada’s governing body for high school athletics and activities. JAMZ provides rules, scoring, education and championship experiences for school, youth, travel and All Star cheer and dance programs nationwide.

The 2027 championship will mark the return of a statewide platform for Nevada high school cheer and dance teams to compete under the NIAA Spirit banner.
