The 2025 National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) wrapped up in electrifying fashion at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at The Walt Disney World® Resort from February 7-10, 2025. With over 27,000 athletes from 1,286 teams representing 34 states, the competition was fierce, with teams bringing their best stunts, tumbling, and crowd-leading skills to the mat.
Produced by the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA), this event is the ultimate goal for high school cheerleaders nationwide. Teams must first qualify through one of 50 regional competitions before earning a bid to NHSCC, making the competition the highest level of achievement for school-based cheer.

This year’s championship saw an exciting first—the debut of the Pep Band Division, which recognized the vital role of pep bands in creating the ultimate game-day experience. Cheerleading, musicians, and school spirit came together in a historic moment for NHSCC.
