Royal Events Group is expanding its cheerleading competition portfolio as Hit Zone Championships transitions to new ownership while retaining its established brand.
Hit Zone Championships is joining Royal Events Group, marking another expansion for the cheerleading and dance event producer. The transition follows a career change for Hit Zone's Lydia Maupin, who announced she could no longer dedicate the time needed to operate the company.
The announcement was shared in separate statements from Maupin and Royal Events Group owner Emmitt Tyler.
Hit Zone Championships Transitions to Royal Events
Maupin said a recent promotion in her professional career led to the decision to transition the business to new ownership. Finding an organization that would preserve the company's identity and customer relationships was a priority.
"I approached Royal Events because, as a former customer with my gym, I experienced their personal service firsthand," Maupin said. "Their reputation and commitment to customers align with the values that have always guided Hit Zone."
Under Royal Events Group, Hit Zone Championships will continue operating under its existing name, maintaining its emphasis on affordable competition fees, spectator admission and personalized customer service.
