Oklahoma State Cowgirls have once again proven their dominance in the world of collegiate STUNT, clinching their tenth national title at the 2025 College Club STUNT National Championship in the College lub Division. The three-day tournament, held from April 25-27, 2025, in Nashville, TN, was a showcase of exceptional athleticism and strategic prowess, culminating in a thrilling final between the top-seeded Oklahoma State Cowgirls and the formidable Alma College Scots.
The championship began with strong performances in the opening rounds. The 4th seeded Cal Poly Mustangs demonstrated an early display of power, securing a decisive 15-0 victory over 5th seed Arizona State Sun Devils. Following suit, The 3rd seeded Alma College Scots also started strong, defeating 6th seed Central Michigan Chippewas with a commanding 13-0 score.
As the tournament progressed into the championship bracket, the top-seeded Cowgirls began their title defense with a 12-3 win against the Mustangs. The Scots continued their own impressive run, overcoming 2nd seeded Michigan State Spartans 15-4, signaling their intent to challenge for the championship.
The consolation rounds provided opportunities for teams to rebound. Cal Poly secured another 15-0 victory against Central Michigan, showcasing their resilience, while Michigan State defeated Arizona State 14-2, ensuring they remained competitive.
The semifinal matchups delivered intense competition. In a closely contested match, Alma pulled off a significant upset, defeating the top-seeded Cowgirls 15-10, sending shockwaves through the tournament. Meanwhile, the Mustangs continued their strong performance, defeating the Spartans 15-10 to earn a spot in the championship qualification game.
