Police are investigating an incident involving BYU cheerleading coach Jocelyn Allan, who reported being struck by a water bottle thrown from the crowd following BYU’s recent game against Utah. Allan stated that the object hit her in the head, causing her to lose consciousness before being lowered to the ground by a cheerleader.

The incident occurred after BYU clinched a win with a field goal, following a controversial holding call on 4th-and-10 that extended the drive. Allan shared a statement on social media, describing the incident and asking anyone with information to come forward. Police are reportedly reviewing video footage to help identify the person responsible.
