Royal Events is expanding its national footprint for the 2026–2027 cheer and dance season, announcing the addition of 15 new competitions to its event calendar.
The announcement comes early, with the 2025–2026 season just getting underway, but reflects a growing trend among event producers to release future dates sooner to assist gyms with long-term planning. The newly added events will bring Royal Events to several new markets across the Midwest, Northeast, South, and West.
Newly announced host cities include Battle Creek, Michigan; Jackson, Mississippi; Vancouver, Washington; Providence, Rhode Island; Asheville and Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Provo, Utah; Columbia, Missouri; and Utica, New York. Additional locations, including Denver; Stamford, Connecticut; West Monroe, Louisiana; Central California; and Southern California, are slated for the tour with more dates to be announced.

Royal Events Group was formed in 2021 by co-founders Emmitt Tyler and Kevin Spencer, former teammates on the University of Louisville’s 1994 national championship cheer team. Both founders entered event production independently before consolidating their brands under one organization. Spencer launched The Crown Championships in 2016, while Tyler brought experience from his tenure with JAMFest, which joined the group in 2020.
