Peak Athletics and Cheer Athletics/Dance Athletics Denver have announced that Josh Rowzee has officially joined their ownership group, marking a significant leadership move for two established programs in the Colorado market.
Rowzee steps into ownership after serving three years as Executive Director at CA/DA Denver, where he helped guide program development, competitive strategy and daily operations. His transition formalizes a leadership presence that athletes and coaches in the gym have already experienced firsthand.
“I’m incredibly grateful and honored to step into ownership with Peak Athletics and Cheer & Dance Athletics Denver alongside leaders I deeply respect,” Rowzee said. “Over the last three years, we’ve built an incredible foundation of success and hard work in Denver, and I’m excited for what’s ahead as we continue growing and elevating our programs.”
Rowzee brings more than 12 years of experience in the all star cheer industry. Prior to his time in Denver, he served six years as Director of Cheer Central Suns, helping build nationally recognized programs and developing athletes who competed at the sport’s highest levels. His coaching résumé reflects sustained competitive success, including two World Championship titles, four additional Worlds medals, three Summit Championships and eight NCA national titles.
For athletes, those achievements represent more than banners. They reflect an understanding of how to build programs that sustain performance over time. Rowzee’s reputation in the industry has been tied not only to results on the mat but to staff development, internal systems and long-term athlete growth.
According to the current ownership group, Rowzee’s operational background and leadership presence were key factors in the decision.
“Josh’s passion for program development, staff leadership and organizational growth makes him an invaluable asset to both companies,” the ownership group said in a joint statement. “He has extensive knowledge of business organization and operations, which will continue to be a resource for streamlining company process and communication.”
The Denver all star market continues to evolve, with programs prioritizing infrastructure as much as competitive performance. Ownership transitions often signal strategic shifts. In this case, the move appears to reinforce stability and long-term planning.
Rowzee has already been instrumental in shaping CA/DA Denver’s competitive direction over the past three seasons. Athletes under his leadership have competed on national stages while the gym has expanded its operational framework behind the scenes. Coaches credit him with building systems that support consistency across teams and age divisions.
His approach centers on clarity of standards and accountability within coaching staffs. Rather than relying solely on star power or individual team success, Rowzee has focused on strengthening internal communication and leadership development. That foundation now carries into his ownership role.
For athletes and families, the announcement provides continuity. The leadership guiding daily training, competitive strategy and program growth remains consistent, now with expanded authority and long-term investment from within.
As the 2026 season approaches, both Peak Athletics and Cheer Athletics/Dance Athletics Denver position themselves for measured growth. Ownership alignment often influences recruiting, staffing and resource allocation. In this case, the addition of a seasoned coach with championship experience adds both credibility and operational depth.
Rowzee’s message is centered on progress.
“We’ve built an incredible foundation,” he said. “I’m excited for what’s ahead as we continue growing and elevating our programs.”
For a sport that increasingly demands both elite performance and professional management, this move reflects a broader trend. Successful programs are investing in leaders who understand both the mat and the business behind it.
