Maryland Twisters announced that its Hanover, Maryland, and Sterling, Virginia, locations will join the Top Gun All Stars organization under the ownership and leadership of Adrian Butler, according to a statement released on social media.
The two locations will operate as Top Gun Maryland and Top Gun Virginia, collectively referred to as Top Gun MaVa, as part of the organization’s expanding network of programs.
The announcement follows confirmation earlier this week that Maryland Twisters would undergo an ownership change during its 28th season.
Top Gun All Stars is one of the most decorated programs in all star cheerleading, with more than 25 World Championship titles. The organization was founded by Victor Rosario and Kristen Rosario and is widely recognized for its elite teams, including its Large Coed divisions.
In a statement announcing the expansion, Top Gun acknowledged the history of the Maryland Twisters program and the transition ahead.
“Today we proudly honor the incredible tradition of Maryland Twisters while stepping into an exciting new era,” the organization said. “With deep respect for the legacy that built this program, we are thrilled to welcome the newest leaders who will carry that tradition forward with passion, vision, and pride.”
The statement concluded by welcoming the programs into the organization.
“Please join us in welcoming Top Gun Maryland and Top Gun Virginia to the Top Gun All Stars family.”
Maryland Twisters currently operates four locations across Maryland and Virginia. The Hanover and Sterling programs are the first confirmed to transition as part of the ownership change.
Rall also confirmed she will retire in May and relocate to Florida. She founded Maryland Twisters in 1998, and the program is currently in its 28th season. The organization operates four locations in Hanover, Maryland; Sterling, Virginia; Salisbury, Maryland; and Gaithersburg, Maryland.
During Rall’s tenure, Maryland Twisters became one of the longest-running all-star cheer programs in Maryland and Virginia. The program’s Worlds teams have earned 16 medals, including four gold medals with the F5 team.
Rall currently serves on the Board of Directors for the US All Star Federation and previously served on the USASF National Advisory Board and Rules Committee.
