UCA College Nationals return to Orlando, Florida, from January 16-18, 2026, bringing together the best college cheerleading teams from the United States and beyond. Known as one of the premier events in collegiate cheer and dance, this championship showcases routines packed with tumbling, stunts, pyramids, baskets, and dance sequences.

Hosted by Varsity, the event is split into divisions such as Large Coed, Small Coed, and All Girl, ensuring teams of all sizes and styles have a chance to shine. The competition will take place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort.

  • Hofstra University dominates Small Coed with 10 championships.
  • Indiana University holds 6 All Girl titles, a record in that division.

Who to Watch in 2026

Defending Champions:

  • University of Alabama (Coed): We all know that it comes down to who hits the best routine in finals, and Alabama is back to defend their title.
  • University of Mississippi (All Girl): The Rebels won the programs first National Championship in 2025. We can’t wait to see what the reigning National Champions bring to the floor in All Girl D1A.
  • University of Central Florida (Coed): The Knights are aiming for their fifth title after their 2024 victory.
  • University of South Florida (All Girl): USF is looking to continue their momentum after their first-ever win in 2024.

Historic Dynasties:

  • University of South Florida (2021-2023): A three-time D1A Coed champion with victories across divisions.
  • University of Kentucky: 25-time National champion and consecutive champions in Coed Division 1A (1987-1988 and 2016-2019).
  • Morehead State University: The D1 program out of Morehead, Ky. has taken home 54 National Championship titles since the program began competing in 1988 and fields teams across All-Girl, Large Coed, and Small Coed.
